You Are:
You are an experienced engineering professional with a deep understanding of gas turbine engines and their applications in the energy/aerospace sector. Your background in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering provides the foundation to engage confidently with customers and internal teams. You thrive in environments where technical complexity meets real-world business needs, and you have a proven track record of leveraging simulation and analysis tools—such as Ansys Fluent, Ansys Mechanical, or similar tools—to solve challenging problems. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Establishing long-term, sustainable relationships with assigned accounts by aligning Synopsys (Ansys) Simulation & Analysis (S&A) solutions with client business initiatives and acting as their single point of contact for all technical activities.
  • Collaborating with Global Technical Account Managers and Enterprise Account Managers to identify, plan, and prioritize strategic technical activities in the region to achieve sales goals.
  • Mapping customer technical requirements to Synopsys S&A solutions, leveraging your expertise in the aerospace/ energy industry vertical.
  • Coordinating with presales, technical support, services, training, and development teams to execute growth plans and expand Synopsys’ footprint at key accounts.
  • Reviewing technical support activities, ensuring quality goals are met, and coaching technical staff alongside local Sales & Engineering managers.
  • Facilitating communication between accounts and Synopsys Development teams to address defects, enhancement requests, and product improvements.
  • Supporting account-based marketing strategies to drive technology adoption, deployment, and partner solution integration.
  • Contributing to field-factory interlock for product enhancement and competitive solution positioning.
  • Driving opportunity qualification and technical campaigns for complex engagements, advising on market sizing initiatives.
  • Traveling domestically to engage with customers and support regional activities up to 25-50% of the time.

What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0 minimum years of relevant experience).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of gas turbine engines, fluids, and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation and analysis tools such as Ansys Fluent, Ansys Mechanical, or similar tools in the market
  • Ability to map customer requirements to technical solutions and deliver impactful recommendations.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25-50% of the time, depending on account needs.
