Embrace the opportunity to contribute to our efforts in omnichannel grocery shopping while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Lead a team of category managers, spanning a range of departments, owning the overall customer experience strategy and setting strategic goals</li><li> Develop and execute a consistent selection and sourcing strategy across a range of departments</li><li> Work alongside partner teams across the organization to ensure we deliver against key category goals and milestones.</li><li> Establish and grow vendor relationships; partner with vendors to deliver improvements in customer experience and hold vendors accountable for operational performance</li><li> Own the Trade Planning Strategy to drive category growth<br><br></li></ul>A day in the life<br><br><ul><li>Be the ‘business owner’ for your category, working autonomously and possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your category</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines</li><li>Create compelling customer experience that raises the bar and drives customer engagement</li><li>Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to hit key inputs and ouputs</li><li>Provide business inputs regarding promotional activity, space allocation, pricing, productivity analysis, and forecasting<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or analytical discipline</li><li> Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience</li><li> Experience with business analysis and P&L management</li><li> Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying</li><li> 5+ years of team management experience</li><li> 7+ years of Category Management experience</li><li> Retail industry experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience using data to influence business decisions</li><li> Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
